Adult Classes
The Adult Sunday School classes broach a variety of topics ranging from current issues, relations with other religions, Bible Studies, people of the Bible and hot topics. Most of the Sunday School Classes are interactive with technological presentations.
Beginning in early January the Adult Class will learn about and discuss public education in America. This will prove to be an interesting and invigorating discussion. The unit will begin with a discussion of the history and current state of public education in America. We will then follow up with three weeks of guest speakers from public schools, home schoolers/cyber schools and parochial schools. Finally we will wrap up the unit with a discussion on how Presbyterians can shape our education in America.
We suggest that you take a few moments to read the two attached articles. Both of these articles will provide you with some background knowledge of the current debate and the history of public schools.
